Paul R. Garelick

Partner

Partner Paul R. Garelick, Esq. is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court with over 30 years of experience. He concentrates the bulk of his practice on medical malpractice but also represents clients in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, and products liability litigation. He is also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and handles mass torts, class actions, and cases involving municipal law or criminal defense.

He is thorough and selective when accepting medical malpractice cases, which are often a massive undertaking typically spanning three to five years. Paul focuses largely on cases involving catastrophic injury, permanent internal injuries, and failure to diagnose or misdiagnosis.

When presented with a potential case, Paul speaks directly with potential clients, personally reviews every page of records, and maintains clear and consistent communication.

“The buck stops with me,” he says. “For 30 years, I have returned calls the same day unless I am still in trial at the end of the day. Clients deserve to speak to me directly as I will be handling the case alone. I understand the frustration clients feel when they cannot reach their attorney or get passed around and speak to multiple people in a firm.”

Paul earned his Juris Doctor at Temple University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court District for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, New Jersey Association for Justice, and the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association, of which he is a past president.

When not in the courtroom, Paul is the women’s softball coach at Brookdale Community College, coaching 50 regular games per year plus invitationals. Before college ball, Paul coached community little league, high school softball, and Armature Athletic Union (AAU) program games.
