Motorcycle Awareness Month Rides through the United States

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration kicked off its annual Motorcycle Safety Awareness Campaign, a month-long event held each May. The celebration is aimed at increasing safety and education for riders on America’s roadways and promoting proper observance of rules when riding, from what to wear to how to share the road with other drivers. Organizations nationwide will be promoting initiatives to remind bikers – and other drivers who share the road — about motorcycle safety and the best ways to decrease accidents. Some vendors will also be holding giveaways and raffles for safety gear and riding clothing.
As the weather gets warmer, riders in New Jersey and throughout the rest of the country will be hitting US highways by the millions.
